Public Performances

The Tempel Lipizzan return to public exhibitions in 2012 with two unique experiences: The Matinee Performance and The Evening Toast and Performance. Click here to see the performance program.

The Matinee Performance
Join us on Sunday afternoons in the elegant backdrop of the fields of Tempel Farms for our Matinee performance of the Tempel Lipizzans set to classical music. The program follows the Tempel Lipizzans through varying stages of development and training. After the performance, enjoy a self-guided tour through the stallion stable and visit our foals in the pasture. Riders, trainers and handlers will be present to answer questions. An Evening Toast and Performance
Watch living history perform by the late day light.  An Evening Toast and Performance begins with a champagne toast to the Lipizzan Breed and honored guests. The performance program which is set to classical music will follow the varying stages of the development and training of the Lipizzan horses. From Young Stallions through Airs Above the Ground to the Quadrille, or Ballet of the White Stallions, this program follows almost the same format as the Matinee performance. Following the performance guests are invited into our stables and stable courtyard for a self-guided tour where complimentary hors d'oeuvres, wine and beer will be served as the sun sets. Behind the Scenes Tours

Learn about the storied history and intricate training of the amazing Tempel Lipizzan stallions during a guided tour of the training facility. Enjoy visiting the horses in the stable, and watch the trainers prepare the Lipizzan horses for the performances.

Tours are by reservation only and take place most Saturday mornings from 10-11:30 through the winter and spring months.

Starting in May, Behind the Scenes Tours will be offered to groups of 15 or more on most Tuesdays at 1pm and Thursdays at 10am. Advance reservations required.

Pair your next special event with a performance of the Tempel Lipizzans coupled by an elegant event at our Good Luck Guest House just up the apple orchard from our training barn and arenas.
